[Save/Load] Deleting a character resets the voice pack of your other characters

(Statement) #1

Hi, was just messing around and noticed this, it’s fairly easy to reproduce.

Firstly, create a character (archtype doesn’t matter) and give them the first voice pack (the scottish accent). You can then start the campaign or whatever and verify it has the correct voice. Then, delete a different character, you will then see that this newly created character has been reset to one of the american voices.

Hardly gamebreaking, but it was annoying me until I found out what it was.

Just an update on this, it seems to happen randomly even without my previously mentioned conditions. The voice that it is reset to is the 3rd voice selection, the generic american one.

A really strange bug in which no matter what, eventually my characters voice pack will change to one of the ‘generic’ american packs, not 100% on which of the two after some arbritary event. I’ve made a few characters with the first voice pack (scottish), but have been unable to keep it using that voice pack for more than a few missions, an easy way to reproduce this bug is create, then delete a new character, which will immediately change the voice pack of your existing character.

Probably going to be low on the pirority list to fix, though, so I suppose I’ll have to learn to live with this other voice. :<

Anyone else run into this?

I made a character with the accent of O’Hare, and i made another character with the Jamaican one, and now when i play on the Irish guy, he sounds Jamaican.

Anyone know a fix?
