"Safe to leave" message but penalty still applied

Why do you print a “it is safe to leave now” message, and then i leave to just get a penalty.

MM in this game has so far been very frustrating. Almost everygame something was not alright. Of course the main issue is that in alot of the games are cheaters. But the bugs also were very frustrating in the past. Example: join, rejoin, rejoin, … to finally get into a match. Then wehn you are at the match: someone leaves (the 4 v 5 bug is fixed?).

This was the situation for making this thread: i joined a mm lobby. It was 5v5 at first. Then someone left. Imo the game should not even start there. Why do ppl leave. I want to report that asshole. Can not tell me anyone that he has connection issues. This never happens in obj mode. So we got to play 4v5. Then the message pops up AKA “safe to leave”, i leave, cause it is fair to leave in such a situation, and i still get a penalty applied. Very very frustrating. I thought i give it a try today again after so many attempts which almost 95% cases ended up with something wrong with mm. Out of this 95%, there was about 75% bugs and failed behaviour in certain situations, and the rest cheaters. Garg. No words.

TLDR: i match should not even start in such a situation, and if i leave afterwards, no penalty should be applied to me.

typically at least one player randomly drops out of every second game, and thats not even counting the ragequits!

Sad. I have not played MM in a while, cause it was so buggy, but it still has so many problems …

I want to add: why is there even an accept button while you search. Just drop them in like starcraft 2 mm. And why does every player have to lock in manually. It should start immediately, except if someone really is in character change selection. And why is there even a f6 to do at match start. This is madness after madness after madness. It drives one insane …

And the next issue: it says “accept” while you search, right? Well it spammed the accept button in around 10 seconds for about 10 times. I can not imagine 10 people searched in mm, then when accept phase hits, the all suddenly loose their inet connection, cause there is no cancel option when you are asked to accept.

Another issue:

i get dropped out every 2 mins out of mm. Then it brings me to a screen from where i can resume. This never ever happens to me when i am in obj, and i have played enough obj mode, i am not level 10 or something.

I can not imagine these problems are unknown, just to give an impression of how broken mm is currently. It is so full of bugs, it should almost be disabled, cause it is actually in pre-alpha state and should be tested by alpha testers further.

I am so sorry for spam and for the misleading header in the thread: it should be named mm problems now.

Next issue: when the match was done on which i got thrown out of the game every 2 minutes, even at the ending screen of the match (match over, stats displayed, everyone can leave normally) i could not leave, it just brought me back to the screen from where i could resume.

EDIT enough for today, that was another bad horror trip into the mm hell actually …
