great, just add some fog too, because i hate when i’m getting sniped all the time.

afaik fog (or no fog) ist only possible while compiling a map.

The worsted thing about this map is when there are bots on…and they use the MG’s… OMgg!

Rest of the map is fun…

Original saberpeak lags a lot. Isn’t their anyway to fix that?

vis blocking is very hard on that map, because of the structure. but you can fix it by adding a fog. guess thats the only way…

edit: but i think that wouldnt look too good.

Could work - make it a rainy night perhaps. However, adding fog would ruin the sky :stuck_out_tongue:

I agree, adding fog to this map would not look good, mainly because of the mediterranean atmosphere the map currently has: If it was a dark rainy or a winter map than some fog would work imho…

Well, if someone plans to convert the map with the released source, then just move away from the bahamas look. Make it an winter map. Ditch the palm trees for evergreens, add fog, and throw in some ice bergs and other patches for players to walk on. Biggest problem with that map is the transparent water. Allies are easily sniped on it under water. If they can run on some ice, they have a better chance. Then you can take it to the extreme and make players take damage if they fall into the cold water.

The map is overall extreme difficult for allies on public servers.
A capturable spawn in ammo hut helps, but there is still the thing with the submarine, more often allies wins by sneaking in without ever having completed the objective with the ship. Maybe a ladder which can be built to get on the roof, where the wall has to be dynamited…

the ice sounds good though… even though it would be cool if one could swim under it … without getting dmg.
But difficult to get anywhere cause one has to find a hole in the ice to get fresh air. And there the sniper can wait for the fish to catch some air :smiley:
