thats the point, you need fire support (ammo givers) to help you maintain firepower
Well you can always use the card with spares and spend an annoyingly long amount of time reloading. Maybe they should give the MK46 and K-121 1.5 spare mags instead of just 1, and also make them have a slightly faster time for reload cancels.
It really feels like you can’t reload cancel this thing, you get like 0.1 sec less if you do it right. On the other hand it would look weird as fuck if you could cancel it before the belt is inserted in the gun. Kinda cornered themselves with that animation.
well, when im using M4 or BR-16 it feels fine and i dont really need to find ammo or ask for ammo as often when i play with K121.
i think its just me but how about you?
if you count the bullets youll notice LMGs have one spare clip, as opposed to 2 for all other primaries in the game. this is intentional.

Are you implying that it’s harder to hit 3 bullets of the burst than the constant slow shooting? Because it really isn’t. Or maybe you just want talk some shit and say i suck at aiming so it doesn’t matter? The outright burst of damage is just plain better esspecially on longer ranges. I love lmg’s in this game but they are outclassed by every other weapon. The only upside is their mag size. The br does everything that k121 does but better except for ammo capacity but at the same time it reloads way faster.

what? no man, im talking about the K121.
even if K121 has the same damage as BR-16 it wont matter when K121 only hits occasionally and not when i wanted to hit. Its so frustrating sometimes when youre at close range and you need to stop firing to be able to hit things again by letting the recoil rest for a moment.
In that case i misunderstood you horribly and i agree with you completely. I was in the situation way too often as well when you just have to stop shooting to reset the aim.
Tbh, I could do with the gun having bigger clips, imo the whole point of LMGs is suppressive fire. Keeping people pinned down on an area and preventing them from moving forward.
But then again that would also require the guns get a significant rework in the hipfire, and ads department.
good point, imo MK46 almost performs that role already; increasing dps at cost of hipfire accuracy could push it into that role.
i think fragger’s lmg could be more like a taka-taka high dps close range weapon, with good hipfire but even bigger recoil and maybe higher spread elevation
