Remaking ET or RtCW withoud any fundemental changes = stupid idea.
ET or RtCW with new graphics engine = Quake 4 style (nothing new, game is dead a month after release)
I hope they will add some changes to RtCW2 which will differ it from the original…

The only thing you seem to be looking for is a game on the frontpages of news sites so people will actually play it (Since RtCW is dead, and ET is slowly dieing too)?

Again, it’s a brand new game, it’s not part of the wolfenstein universe, RtCW2 is under development by other companies. If you don’t like the idea of the game, just don’t buy it. Why come here and whine about it? Do you actually think they will listen to you and change their design documents or what?

Read before you flame: ET:QW will have about the same weapon handling as W:ET and have similar teamplay, it needs as much skill to shoot.
This is not a Quake sequel, it’s ET set in the Quake universe.

I don’t like to call people low skilled, but your “searching and reading” skill seems not that high.

ET:QW will be hard to camp. More spawnpoints. A stroog cant shoot all time as his gun gets overheated. SD is busy with balancing and make camping even harder, you will need teamwork more then in ET. The whole quake idea is great i think.Maybe some hate it, but it brings something fresh. SD uses so many tricks to make the game like nonoe could ever think. EA developers should do /kill immediately when they compare their BF2 shit with ET:QW. SD stands for quality, you saw it in TE. They made 2 patches still when teh game was free. |They gave help to modde4rs liek bani and teh game is still alive and how! great! Dont base your opinions on some screenshots as you havent got the chance to play a demo.Trust me SD knows what they do!

BTW maybe you dont liek ET:QW as it wont come to mac soon, looking at your name “iDan” you should be a mac freak…

agreed, but having a forum where players can address ther concerns to the devlopers is good as long as players use it properly

writing out a nice pice detailing there concerns and where they have got there information from rather then just watching the trailer and getting some meaniingfull feedback is a good way to discus opinions and we can all benefit

when your argument is “all you low skilled players want a game you can camp” then realy the forum is not being used well so bring on the flaming

and anyway how does making a game with much bigger ad more open maps help the game become more camper friendly. if anything small maps with very small objective focused areas are better for camping as you can tell where they players are going to be going

besides if you dont like the game no1 is forcing you to buy it so whast your problem

Now I don’t post much on these forums I try to refrain from it to much as I do not want to sound like a child or a little whiney baby, but this guy has just provided me the courage to do so. Ok you don’t like the game don’t play it. You want them to keep the Quake3 engine and make it World War 2. Why don’t you just play enemy territory. I mean gosh you want them to use the same engine and same scenario. Ok that wouldn’t be a new game would be the same game. As for anyone actually taking your post seriously, don’t count on it.
