Project Chaos… a Singleplayer-Mod for Return to Castle Wolfenstein

Story:
Angela Chaos, the owner of ChaosTechnologies ( www.chaos-technologies-corp.com ) and one of the most substantial people on earth, is driven by her vision to ease the woes of humanity by pushing the evolution of mankind ahead by a thousand generations. With the help of the ingenious and shady Dr. Adam Sandler, ChaosTechnologies
develops the “Perfect Human”, a genetically improved human being that is immune against all known diseases and much stronger and brighter than normal humans. While the public is very excited about this announcement, the men of the AntiChaosFoundation (ACF), a privately funded organisation founded by an unknown millionnaire, are not sure of Angela’s declared intention. The ACF has tried to prove that ChaosTechnologies does not stick to the laws of science and to human rights for years and now, they accidently get the chance to look inside ChaosTechnologies and what they see raises more questions than answers:
what does the government have to do with Angela’s experiments ?
Why resemble all ChaosTechnologies facilities a fortress ?
What is this blue oscillating liquid that occurs everywhere ?
Who is the cryptic man who observes Parker ?
In a world full of questions without answers only one thing is for certain: Angela is intent on changing the world. And she’s willing to use every ounce of her considerable beauty, charm, and genius to do so.
Here are some impressions…
Features:
- hyper interactive levels: use terminals, videoscreens,
cameras, sodamachines, computers, vehicles etc. - no HUD, all information can be obtained by pulling out
the PDA - multifunctional weapons: put a transmitter on your
enemies with your sniper rifle and make your rocket
launcher’s rocket chase the transmitter - Q3Map2 map compiler => bumpmapping, fine shadows,
projections, particle effects etc. - varied maps: ChaosCity, ChaosTechnologies HQ, CT labs,
underground facilities, tropical islands etc. - highly complex backgroundstory that develops itself
through ingame cutscenes, dialogues, video
messages etc.
The Mod-Team worked now over one year on this project
and looking for some cool guys who would like to join the Project Chaos DevTeam!
Jobs:
LevelDesigners:
- you must be able to create real-world-scenarios as well as some futuristic
stuff - you must be able to create very interactive Maps
- scripting experience is VERY cool, but not required
2D/3D Artists:
- you must be able to create human character models and/or skin them
- you must be able to create map models and/or skin them
- you must be able to create weapon models and/or skin them
- 2D artists need some experience in Photoshop
- Shader scripting experience is COOL, but not required
Coders:
- you must be familiar with the RtCW game source
- you must be patient, as we have tons of code to write for you
