RTCW SP editing and ATI driver...!?

Has anyone come across this problem before? I just installed DX9b and the latest Catalyst drivers for my ATI 9000Pro 128 and this happens when looking at a map in GTK1.2.9, 1.2.13 & 1.4 (GTK 1.5 dev is fine). It only happens when editing under RtCW, switching to Quake3 and loading a map with entities etc displays fine and dandy. GTK-ET also displays ET maps without any problems. Basically all the brushwork and ASE models are reduced to corner vertexes when in RTCW mode, there aren’t any accidental flag/show/hide things active (the maps displayed fine before the driver update)

The last stable drivers are well over 18 months old (I think) so I don’t want to be going back to those… again…!

In Preferences>Display>2D Display/Rendering, do you have “ATI cards with broken drivers - bug #802” checked?

I know it’s not the 2d display that’s causing you problems, but it’s worth a shot.

Hi chavo…! Yeh, I had that enabled but the bug still shows. I think that one effects a slightly different type of camera bug, not sure if this is the same thing causing this one. As soon as I put the old drivers back the problem dissappears so there is definately something going on here.
