I didn’t think that still happened, that people are forced to use their right hand for writing? My da is a left-hander and he says this happened to him at school, but that was maybe 40 years ago. Does it still happen in places?!

Fortunately not very often any more. But there are still some clueless people around who believe that children have to use their right hand.
