Rotating trigger_hurt

Well, i’m making a funmap, in it there are rotating lazers.

Now, i have the lazer, I put a nice trigger around it, make it a trigger hurt, that works fine, but if i want to let it rotate, it becomes a func_rotating.

So, the question is, how to make a rotating trigger_hurt? :smiley:

Always when you want to use more entities together (for example tanks) you have to use tags. There are a lot of threads about that and also some tutorials.

or target the entity to a script_mover. i did it with my model

easy and doesn’t need scripting. Take your normal non hurting func rotating brush and make sure that rotates as you want it.
now make the trigger hurt brush, make it into a trigger_hurt, and link it to the func rotating with ctrl+k
make sure it is a copy of the laser, a little fatter if u want some wider damage range but exact duplicate should do.
