it support ROQ, look intro, its roq, and look at raybans roq fire stuff ;)[/quote]
Wow, I stand corrected. I know the intro’s an roq, I just have this horrid memory of trying to get an old q3 model of a tv with an .roq playing on it to work, and never being able to get it working. Cool it works though
If in raybans roq flame, he has 8 candles playing happily together, you shouldn’t have a problem with 2, sounds weird.
Have any luck with the sound at all? For ET(forgive my rtcw assumption) the speakers need to be added “ingame” with the “speaker editor” Unfortunately we can’t just add a speaker in radiant.
The LDR explains the proper commands to get into/out of speaker editor mode, but here’s the basics. Once your map is loaded ingame:
\editspeakers -gets you into “speaker edit mode”
\dumpSpeaker -creates new speaker in front of camera
\modifySpeaker -allows you to modify selected/new speaker
-once selected you normally add your /path/to/sound.wav , set volume, targetname(for scripting reference if needed) etc
\undoSpeaker - will undo last command issued in “edit” mode
I believe you need to be in sv_pure 0(possibly developer 1 too) for it to work properly.
have any luck recording sound? I found a link for a program called vdub. it is a video “recompression” utility. but you can de-interlace sound from vid, (like if you record your demo with fraps, you can seperate the sound from the vid and use it in your speakers)
gl, sorry if i caused any confusion.
