Oh well, since they seem to be a thing popping up more than once now I could as well do a thread to gather them all in one place in more or less rounded up form.

Gotta say I like their flow very much, with additive pictures and such. Drawing style doesn’t seem my forte but damn it fits French character and enviroment well. So, more to come and mesh-up once they’re revealed.

D’aawww, Poor Aimee :confounded:. Can’t wait for this event to go live.

I really wish we had a backstory comic like this for every other mercs, SD is really fueling this hype train, they must really know people are going crazy over Aimee’s reintroduction.

@Redcap Wholeheartedly agree, these comic style lores rock, since theres much more room and freedom for storytelling than if something was tried to add in-game (SP campaigns for example some games try to pull off, some succeed) alongside multiplayer experience.

I don’t get why they make her promotion so big. Max Bashki, comics, twitter accounts and so on. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind it, but would like to know why only Aimee got that.

Because they want to generate hype and interest. It takes effort and creativity to come up with a back story and an interesting event. Shows that they still care about the game.

Pretty cool. I’m excited. 42,451 credits in the game and rising! Was going to get a new merc (2 left), but saving them all for this event. 50k are for Aimee of course. So I have a lot of missions to play this weekend.

I just noticed how much Aimee reminds me of Electra from Daredevil in the second comic.

Maybe they feel the players overall enthusiasm to play is dwindling. There player count reports aren’t doing as well as before. Or maybe they listen to our complaints about the long wait and this is how there addressing the lack of new content.

If there going all out for Aimee I’d love to know what there planning for turtle

My guess it’s because it’s one of those comics that with each mouseclick/page turn the next panel appears or changes on one panel appear, the poster just posted EACH panel, look at Valve game comic for instance where usually the first panel appears and the next page would normally be the text or subtle changes in character designs.

@Jostabeere My guess it’s to generate hype since Aimee has been talked about ever since she’s been missing.

Curious if Aimee is still really a code name on Aim and Ami, French for friend or really her name.

Side note: Screens depict screenshots of the general area of London, what one would see when inspecting the maps section of the nexon page and cropped images of Vasilli, makes sense.

@CCP115 go on the dirty bomb subreddit. There should be a thread where someone found a link to a Google drive where guy can download pages 9-17. However, sine of the pages are really just additions to a previous page, such as the addition of another panel as the conversation continues.

Exactly on the spot. I took some freedom to leave couple of pages out but duplicate some that I felt more important in that sense. Which is why the below…

Dirty Bomb tweeted out the graphic explaining the free rotation. In the fourth frame, where the “culprit” silhouette is, there is text: “ly/UUDbf3”. That is a bit.ly link leading to a google doc download of half the comics. I don’t know how to get the first ones yet.
