The other option is to just cover those joins with more patches…
I still discourage using patches for terrain. Have a play with r_lodCurveError (iirc thats the cvar) for values below the default (250). I cant remember that may be locked. The point is, terrain should be solid, not dynamic like patches.

The rest is non existing or not textures yet, so I guess you could say at this stage it’s still a test map yes.
I strongly suggest you add more vertical-ness to it.
