Does this already exist? It would be cool to have a road map to see what is worked on. I know that there are these youtube videos and I always watch them. It doesn’t have to be very detailed but it would give some feedback on what is in the focus. It would answer questions and lower the amount of spam here on the forums.
Road Map
Road maps can make pointless deadline pressure.
Sure it’s nice to know what’s next, but the release date info can be harmful. Look what did the “new merc from 6-7 weeks!” cocky move did, a harmful subconscious hype…
Now everyone expects something in October.
I know the usual road map comes with dead lines and with the ongoing addition of new members of the dev team, dead lines are very hard to set. So if it is very hard to set or the adhere to, why not just omit it? Just clearly show the topics of focus and let SD decide upon the dead line.

Does not have to be detailed but rather high level. Now where is my dam event calendar at least…
Still waiting for the next merc to be delayed and get operation health… I mean the Final Healing event and it will focus on fixing bugs but will create new bugs.
Oh wait, it already happened a year ago. Damn you summer squash.
So no, no roadmap = no expectations = no disappointments
Roadmap without deadline or date and hypothetical premises for public audience?
Edit: Correction

has so far been disappointed by Dockyard, Turtle, and Javelin
I think we have to cut them some slack here. The things you mention here happened all either before the nexon split or right after. With a limited dev team, you only have so much resources to play with. But things have changed and SD enlarged their team and even now they are hiring on 22 positions. I think what we can look in a brighter future than the dark age we have been in before.
What I mean with road map is a kind of priority list to see what is worked on and what is considered to be worked on in the future. I see many good ideas but I don’t see anyone picking up the ideas from the community. It would give them an easy way to feed back into the community without having to fuss with the grossly confusing forums and some disturbing and weird users (see the trillion jav threads)
Also I don’t see never a dev replying here or being active in the forums? Or aren’t there any devs looking this up here besides shoes?
How do we know that our discussions are actually contributing to the development?
Eh…I’m not really concerned, basically all I care about is whether or not they are going the route of match making or I can still use my beloved browser, cause Destiny 2 is right around the corner and I need my porn, er, games, to help me out after a long week.
