RNG blues...

I know a lot of people have been wailing on the fact that cases give you cards of loadouts you don’t own but I would actually agree to that. The system where it gives you loadouts of mercs you don’t own needs to stop, at least give us the ones that are on free rotation but the ones you do not own have no real usefulness.

What I want to propose is only do the roulette of the ones you own and the ones that are on free rotation, I believe this is a much more fair alternative.

PS: FOR F***'S SAKE RNG! GIVE ME A GOLD TIMIK!

I dunno RNG blues sounds pretty great to me.

Depends on how you look at it. I would have said being able to buy cases with in-game credits is there as a credit sink for people that already have all mercs unlocked (otherwise the credits would be useless after that). In which case, each card would be potentially useful.

If your idea was implemented, you would end up with a higher proportion of Aura/Skyhammer cards as you would have those mercs available from day one. And if say, you unlocked Kira last, you would have to start from scratch collecting her cards, but you would have far more cards in the lineup due to having all mercs unlocked, so your chances of getting a Kira card would be far less, and it would be much worse getting the specific one you wanted.

I think the system is better as it stands, although I would say it isn’t wise to spend in-game credits on cases until you have all the mercs available anyway.

There is nothing wrong with having that much Skyhammer and Aura cards, I mean if the game is giving us influx of the same loadout cards even though we don’t own the merc.

I consider getting any card an investment for the future. Hell even if its for a class I’m never going to play I can trade it up later.

(Ardez1) #6

I see what you did there. XD

Also, Take advantage of the trade up system. Your best bet might be to spend the 17,500 credits for the bronze loadout of your choice and use that until you can RNG into the gold+ loadout that you want.

If the ability to trade with other players is implemented, the RNG would actually be tolerable.

Yeah . . .

I’m not sure what to do with my Cobalt Rhino, really. I don’t own Rhino!

I would take it off your hands if we could trade… perhaps a steam trade IF it were possible.

I’m counting on that being possible later.

I just got an idea for the current trade system, say we want to keep loadout card we want, why do so in which we have the option to let’s say. Trade four silvers for a gold, but… if you want to keep your current loadout add one more card and simply upgrade its rarity for an extra fee. Same option applies for making a silver and a bronze.

I’m not sure that this system will preserve the value of higher rarities like Splash Damage will likely want, but I do like the idea - I really dislike the RNG element of trading up, but I love playing with cosmetics. I’m really just hoping they eventually split cosmetics from the loadout and add some kind of real money cosmetic cases in like other games would do.

I was thinking that could be a possible option. Like, separate cosmetic skins that can be attached/merged to the card.

Because once I get the card I want, I won’t change it for anything else. Skins would be pointless in my mind. But some skins do look neat and I wouldn’t mind gambling for skins separately.

But Skin + correct perk loadout + gun… way too much to deal with

Well with the absolute frustration… I think I’ll be taking a long break from Dirty Bomb, I’m just absolutely frustrated as of this moment.

So for the unforeseeable future, I will be staying away from this game.

Peace guys.

A Gold Timik would be nice…but I still want Stoker

You use it when Rhino is free and bask in the accusations of P2W  . That is one of the good things of getting cards for mercs you don’t have, when they are free or you decide you want them later you allready got a nice selection of toys ready.
