RNG and the SE skins

Anyone else rather disappointed in the rng behind event skins? I have spent money and credits on this event because I think they look awesome but I’m disappointed and upset about the outcome. I managed to land 3 Aimees, 2 of which are identical. 3 Auras, and 2 Atrys. Plus some others. While I’m happy to have the skins I’m now stuck with several I won’t use and can’t get rid of. Is there anything on the horizon to allow us to recycle SE skins? Or trade them? Or do anything so I don’t have these useless skins clogging up my inventory? I’m shocked and unhappy that rng manages to give me the same merc while there are several out there that weren’t given. It’s just frustrating that I spent this money and credits for a crap outcome.

If you dont like tossing cash for rng buy the obsidians. They are cool and you know what you are getting.

I’m not disappointed. I use bronze loadouts anyway and I would gladly trade one of your aimee to random rhino or pdp vasilli.

The OP as a point though. We can’t do anything with th event skins we don’t want. Nothing. We can’t even recycle them. They should add at least a recycle option do the cards don’t just sit taking up space.

The things we ask for the most, we never get. Instead we get shit no one wanted or ever asked for like friendly Proxy mines doing damage to teammates.

People have been asking to recycle, reroll, or anything with special edition cards. We’ve also asked repeatedly for a crafting system overhaul because the last one over a year ago was awful compared to what we already had.

Just don’t ask for it and it will come…

Yeah, admittedly I’m running out of patience with the current system. At this point the money I’ve been tossing at them is because I don’t mind supporting them, but I’m starting to spend less and less after each event. The lack of crafting changes and flexibility with special editions is getting old. I think a better model, if they insist on keeping things how they are for the most part, would be to allow us to narrow down our options and adjust the cost accordingly.

1 dollar cases for a guaranteed skin from every potential merc/loadout. Completely random rng.
3 buck cases to select from a pool of each type of merc. Fire support case, assault case, etc.
5 buck cases to narrow it down to one merc’s loadout pool.
15-20 bucks to choose the exact loadout you want. This is comparable to the cost of obsidians.

35 bucks for 2 guaranteed, completely randoms skins with a 1/10 chance of obtaining another completely random skin is ridiculously steep. I think they could make bank if they turned the store into a purely cosmetic skin model instead of rng gambling. Give the damn game personality and incentives for us to spend money instead of gambling.

simple, I don’t spend on event skins as they’re pretty much trash! zero value, you’re never guaranteed what you’ll get so why give them cash and gamble, I’ve spent enough on this game already to merit my support for devs but no more.
Further more the obsidian they dish out, why must they include crappy/inferior loud out cards, I don’t want to buy obsidian just to show off skin, I want the bad ass load out card with it too.
Arty/Fletcher/stocker obsidian had terrible loadouts and the current phoenix obsidian aint all that either!

Agree with the rest of your post, but Stoker had a decent T52 and Fletcher came out with arguably his best in BL21. Fletcher really has 4 or 5 amazing loadouts so you could go with anything. BL21, BL33, H33, H22, and A31 are all good. C41 for the current Phoenix is also considered his best by many. I’d say Stoker had the weakest one of the bunch, but I wouldn’t call it crappy. I use it a lot. The Arty was trash for sure.

Imo the crafting system and event system is fair and ok for someone who doesn’t use real money, but for the people who would like to spend real money on skins and help the devs out same time, the cosmetic system sucks hardcore which is ironic and sad

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one who had some issues. Thanks for all the comments. I do agree that the system for receiving se skins without spending money is a nice one. It is frustrating to get duplicates though, cash or credit, when there is nothing you can do with them. I chose to spend money to support the game but wish there were simple fixes applied. See y’all in game

The Fletcher is a rather good loadout but the other two were meh…the Turtle one was rather meh too as it has the niner…perhaps one of the worst primaries in game, definitely worst SMG.

Like I said in another thread, why not just give her the loadout with all 3 new weapons…it’s not like that loadout is super great…not like it would do them much harm but they could of brought in more cash.
