with the current balancing, there is no reason to use an assault rifle. the only rifles that are decent are the sniper type which can already be used by all types. furthermore, the advantage to picking the medium or heavy over a light character is being able to use two primary weapons and more health.

he was being sarcastic, but yeah, I used to agree with you on the assualt rifles. But lately I’ve been playing with the rockstedi with d flex scope, muzzle break, grenade undersling attachment, and rapid fire mag and I’ve been really enjoying it. Great for medium range encounters and I can still pull out a smg if I have to for close range.

I’ve been meaning to try to hammerdiem shotgun with the rockstedi in a heavy build so I could use the rockstedi at long-mid range then pull out that huge shotgun for close range, but I can never get used to how slow the heavy moves, I feel I’m more vulnerable as a heavy even though I know I have more health.

And, I loved the shields in Army of Two! Draw more fire? Great. Attention grabber? Excellent. Protection for heavies? Medic Tank (a real one) incoming!

I just started modding my cousin’s guns cuz hes getting to be old enough that he wants something with a bit more punch and I’ve always wanted to make a nerf gun shoot 35 yards.
