Figured the author might have some interest in this: I finally got a chance to play RB2 today and while the map looks great, it has one very serious problem. The axis can walk all over the allies in their sleep. It is very, very biased towards the axis. The allies having to try and cross the huge bridge with all those sniper points and cvoer for axis makes it way to difficult.
My suggestion? One extra rout through the hills that the train tunnel runs through. If there was a secondary route through (with a secondary sapwn area) far to one side (say the opposite side to where the axis locked doors are) then it would mean the axis would have two areas to defend making it a little easier for one or two allies to get through.
I think the area where the axis can jump into the water but the walls are too tall to get out again is ideal. If it was made possible for the allies ot get ontp there from the water it would balance it a lot more. This with the secon route as I mentioned would stop the axis shutting down the allies so easily.
It is a good map and has alot of potential for some really fun games, but at the moment is lop-sided.
one other minor niggle - the cart at the train tunnel entrance bugs the hell out of me. The allies all fight to get through there but end up having to single file through because of the lack of room.
