Rhine 2 ?

hi all, i have a question, if i check my server list, i notise there are a lot of new maps, Rhine Bridge, SillyCTF, TrainYard, Password 2, but today, i notised a RHINE2 map, does somebody know where to download it because i can’t get a server download, i always get an error :frowning: -

It is likely to be the next beta of the Rhine may by Drakir. I suggest you contact him and ask if the beta is closed or public.

eurgh, i bet someone has knicked Drakirs idea and made their own map… so annoying when that happens. :banghead:

i already have it donwloaded it form the server.
Only diffrent axis spawnpoint and truck onj bridge is diffrent buti think its F****** lame to copy someone his map, but maybe hes just testing?

ok, i finally got it :clap: :banana:
but i notised ANOTHER map was on, there is only one way to get them, i think, that is to download them from server :bored:
i don’t think someone has stole his idea, it is his map, you see it, because nothing is changed, only things has added, actually, i HOPE it is his map still :slight_smile: otherwise… :angry:

Sock, this goes out to you especially, Is there anyway of stopping these guys copying the maps? , as in making the pk3 file non covertable back to a .map?

um its not possible to make pk3 files to .map files because pk3 is a zip archive. it IS possible to make .bsp to .map but textures and curves dont get converted… i think its just an other map-.-

I got on a server and downloaded the maps from them, i put the up so you can download them.

That is the wrong version, it was only a BETA test, look for the new Topic Rhine Bridge 2 released! We tested the map last nite.
