i dont understand how rex is able to best BJORN on a 1 0n 1? he’s done so on multiple occasion in mamut.si vs vanillities. i guess the amount of skill i thought bjorn had wasn’t that rare afterall. not saying rex is a bad player and dont take it the wrong way its just those(mamut) guys are suppose to be in a league of their own,i think.

now that makes sense, cause last time i saw them play, as soon as they look at u, u die. no chance to fight back. dude tried to backrage one guy from mamut, as soon as mamut guy turned around, the guy backraging was dropped, like a glass of horse milk. btw aA was also getting owned by rex a few time, care to elaborate? deathy.

Sorry for not adding a description which would explain the match more! (I will add it as soon as possible). It’s like Deathy already explained mamut hasn’t played the game for years, so this wasn’t a match in their prime time.
I had the chance in the past to play against them, though always got seeded in a different group. So I never faced them in their prime time.

Also it’s not that players like BJORN or aA were invincible, such good players were just very hard to kill. Especially when they got backup from a strong team. :wink:

If you want to prove yourself as a good player you have to play against the best in their prime time.

The match was nothing special, because on the one hand it would have been awkward to lose it, but on the other hand you knew it wasn’t the ‘real’ mamut. They were even mixed with aA and hUMY.

well aA i think, is close to their skill level, humy on the other hand is just the average pro player, no offense to humy cause he has good frag movies,

Last time I played against hUMY and his team we started to freak out at the middle of the match because we realised that they were slowly taking back their level and owning us more and more, I think he would not need a lot of time to show you how to eat pizza.

If MAMUT.si took hUMY in their team, you can trust them, he was a really good player, probably superior to the “average pro player” as you said, at least when they knew him from his prime time. I was playing with rUBBEN when he came back on ETQW for FTML season 1, the guy knew what he was doing when we faced him and his team.

i wouldn’t describe humy as an above average player. i was pretty mediocre even in my prime and we scrimmed a lot against the italians back then. always felt pretty much like a 50/50 outcome each time we met in 1v1 situations.

Hahahahaha, I ate snails only once in my life and can’t remember eating frogs actually! As for the anchois, yeah we like that, but, you know, the cliché about wine and bread is way more true than the one about frogs and snails. ^^
