Rewards for winning?

(blisteringOwlNest) #1

Are there any rewards after a match you win apart from the first? Because I don’t think there is, and that seems really odd to me. I’m not sure if it’s entirely needed, but it still seems odd that the winners don’t even get a win bonus or anything.

(gg2ez) #2

Isn’t there a credit bonus you get for winning?

(Yes) #3

No, but by the way people sit in stacked teams, you’d think there was.

(SereneFlight) #4

There’s already a bonus for winning. It’s called not getting slightly frustrated and disappointed at humanity.

(MarsRover) #5

One bonus per day is enough, we don’t need more reasons for stacking.

#6

Well, you occasionally rank up if you win in ranked matchmaking mode! Pubs don’t need a bonus for that to stop people intentionally ruining the balance.

(terminal) #7

SD says there’ll be more ways to earn credits in the future.
For now, the daily rewards are fine.

(MarsRover) #8

…500 credits for first Execution match

(Grave_Knight) #9

You get one for the first win of the day for each game mode (including Comp) which is like 500 credits.

Comp counts as stopwatch, it does not have it’s own bonus.

(Nimron) #11

camp & kill in pubs = more cash
gettin objective or mission done = little bonus

If it is a balanced pub game, then u ll get satisfaction too prbly. :joy:

No, you get 500 for the first match in each game mode. You only get one 500 bonus for the first win regardless of mode.

(Vinos) #13

You get win bonus XP each time you win a round

(Nimron) #14

who cares about xp, lol

(DMaster2) #15

We don’t really need any more reason to encourage people stacking teams. That’s painful enough as it is.

(Ardez1) #16

Isn’t winning the reward itself?

But DB doesn’t make it feel like you’ve won
It’s just changing the word that get shown to you at the end of match from “LOST” to “WIN”

I guess that is one way to look at it. I’ve never felt that way myself because usually the win is earned. Personally, I know I’ve won because of the 3-30 minutes preceding that screen.

So what you’re saying is that winning is not enough and you want another reward?

(blisteringOwlNest) #20

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think its entirely needed, but it does feel nice to be rewarded for a hard fought victory. That’s why I love the bonuses, just because they’re big and congratulatory. Hopefully when SD implement a reason for levelling up, the XP bonuses will be a bit more pronounced and actually useful. though I just like having my ego stroked xD

and yeah, I didn’t think about the team stacking. personally I make a point to join the other team if there’s a two player difference, but it sucks that people are willing to completely crush another team. I agree there shouldn’t be another reason to encourage it.
