Huh, if they actually added a reason for me to play comp instead of an arbitrary ranking, then I’d play comp some more.

What else? I know its not cool to “force” people to play ranked MM however what if its to good to pass up???
We get more credits and XP but what else? 
Perhaps a proper incentive. Right now, comp is glorified Stopwatch mode which takes, depending on when and where you play, much longer to get into a match and much, much harder to find a balanced game when you play solo like me (I have no friends who play DB…).
Maybe things like increased base credit rate, higher case drop chances, special cards, titles and whatnot, just something. What I’d really like to see is a chance to drop small credit boosters (125-150% base rate increase?) for use in regular matches, or a booster that increases mission income by 25% for a short time.
Firstly add a proper solo queue and improve the anti cheat, so it at least recognizes things that obviously shouldn’t happen, such as “shotgun sniper rifles”, and humanly impossible DPS/hitrate.
As for the rewards:
Something to show off to the masses of plebeians, like titles or such.
Cosmetics that are exclusive to achieving high rank in competitive, e.g. gun stickers, or even proper merc skins.
Leaderboards.
Once you have played 50+ comp matches without playing any objective mode… it could reward you by not spamming play the objective mode missions 
These could be cool.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a season system similar to Hearthstone, where you start at a higher rank, say 25, and have a guaranteed no rank loss up to 20, then from there you continue down the ranks. The further you get, the better the rewards are at the end of the “season”. Perhaps every 5 ranks gives an elite case, and maybe even leading to an earned seasonal skin at the lower ranks. Would give huge incentive to play comp other than the “win one competitive match for 500 credits” type missions.

The credit bonuses are a great idea. But the problem after that would be having things to buy in the store…
I’m pretty sure no one would be happy buying regular cases.
I’m all for making ranked games more attractive but they need to get rid of these afk idlers. In the last days/weeks I had at least one of them in every other public game. If you give free stuff for completing ranked games, they will flood this mode.

This sounds nice in the first moment, but is actually a very bad idea. It widens the gap between new and/or bad players and the regulars even more.
You suck and now you get less credits than others? Get to buy the mercs and loadouts you want even later (compared to others)? This is frustrating and creates even a feeling of p2w even if its actually not.
The regulars are already having a lot… and they got things that make other players think are superiour. Think of all the people wanting Rhino and Phantom…
The lv8-9 guys from the comp Qs are not able to bring every merc and every loadout to the table. We could see that on DBNations cup. I dont think its good to make this gap even wider. Even if youd actually just speed it up for the others - it will be perceived a different way.
They should make it so you can choose to display your comp rank on your merc. Like stickers or hats with your rank on it
@FireWorks I know what you mean, but some people will always think that Dirty Bomb is p2w.
This could make competitive more “alive”, also after playing some time, you will eventually get atleast to silver.
But I still agree with most of your points. Let’s just hope that the game will be ready for some kind of rewards before/when leaving open beta.
Pretty much what Amerika said, but with weekly missions that award you credits based what type of xo you earn.
Besides Skins, XP and Credits what else would make you play Ranked MM? Stats?
I was thinking Pubs Server unlocks based on Ranks. (Instead of Min Level 10 Servers = Min level Rank Servers) (This wouldnt keep me playing but might balance some things in pubs)
