Reward for beta players

In one of the melle mayhem dev videos, the devs mentioned a reward for all those who played in the open beta I’m wondering if I how somehow missed since I played before the mofo update. And what do you guys hope it is?

Since Bush is going free with 1.0 I think it may be a ‘beta fighter bush’, that’s my guess, and a special weapon skin similar to what PTS got with the Tapir skins

They said that people who owned Bush would be getting a reward, so make sure you buy him if you haven’t already.

The beta rewards are the bronze melee skins and the ability to purchase silver, gold and cobalt melee weapon skins for credits instead of just rads.

Also, don’t forget all the skins and trinkets you have accumulated over the past events. :slight_smile:

That’s a good point but I’d say it’s a little too early to bring that up since we don’t know which cards will be tradeable specifically.

Well, I don’t see the point of trading if we can’t trade SE cards from past events (Founders, Humble Bundle, Alienware/Logitech and purchaseable ones excluded). Even the ranked ones should be tradeable imo.

In some way, I agree with you. But people that have a lot of duplicates would be interested in getting rid of them. We asked rerolling cards for… well I think since the first event. And I’m pretty sure they already said they won’t allow to recycle SE cards.

The only reason they didn’t allow us to recycle SE cards is because of the intended loadout changes that have now been nixed. They didn’t want people to do something “drastic” prior to being able to actually utilize dupes and crap loadouts. Now that they’ve indicated that loadout scenario is DOA, let me do SOMETHING with the duplicates. I’ve got 4 different SE cards of the SAME rhino loadout that I will NEVER use.

Honestly though, does it REALLY matter that much if someone who didn’t get an event card can trade for an event card?
It benefits both parties. Everyone is happy, not sure why you’d want to just hoard cards for yourself. Especially if you’re anything like me, and have a billion special edition cards on mercs you never play or loadouts you dislike. So what if someone runs around in a purple skin even when they hated ranked? Not like that changes the game for anyone.

Yet the people who they hand picked get a awesomely epic skin that I’ve yet to even see in game used by anyone.
