Revive counter

Hello, I recently got into Dirty Bomb and wished to give feedback on it since I am enjoying the game quite a bit. I am someone who plays medic classes like Sparks or Aura quite a bit and my friend brought up the idea of at the end of the match having a number of how many people you have revived in the match accompanying the kills and deaths and I thought that that would be quite cool. Not something that takes priority or anything, but I think it would be a small nice change

I agree it would be nice, probably not on the scoreboard as a whole though, stick it in the stats part.

When you say the stats part are you talking about the end of the game where it says your K/D rather than mid game (cause if so I agree as well) or are you speaking of some other place?

At the end of game screen there’s a couple of tabs at the top. Scoreboard, something, and stats. Stats has mission progress etc. I think. Stick it there when the other stats get properly implemented.

I’m just saying don’t stick it on the scoreboard, it’s cluttered enough as it is.

Ah that is what you are referring to. shrugs I feel like either place would be a good spot for it, whether it be on the scoreboard at the end by just adding an extra dash and a number after deaths or in the stats section.

Having revives/get ups would be more accurate I suppose. I mean, it should be obvious you are a decent medic if you are top of the scoreboard with like 3/8.

I completely misread the beginning of this post and in the process came up with a new idea all together. What if revives on an individual were not infinite? Say you go down two times and each time you get revived and healed, but on your third down you go to insta-death mode. Anyway just a thought, could reduce impossible to breach defenses and allow attackers a better chance.

But that is beside the point, I do like the idea of displaying number of revives since it allows our brave medics to show off how well they actually did in a match. Right now we go based off of score, and that’s not accurate at all because you got other factors like kills, objectives, healing and even gameplay as other mercs. I’d say a simple addition to the end-game scoreboard making it in the configuration of kills/deaths/revives would make it easy to identify who is really keeping your team afloat.

So medics can say: “Look at me! I’m important, too! So revivr! Much health! Such points!”

More like my normal medic play.

If i get blishlok then it is not common.

I feel like the only reason this gets suggested is because people can’t shake off the fact that their K/D is fairly insignificant in DB. Sure, I wouldn’t mind it, but it doesn’t need to be there with the K/D - much the same as assists doesn’t need to be there.

Yes, and arguably a lot more important than K:D

The thing is that your score will show how useful you were to your team, no other stats are required. “But then why do we have K/D?” Because at the end of the day it’s a first person shooter and K/D is important to most people.
