Revert the New UI

New UI takes up too much space due to the quickchat commands, and the font looks terrible. If we could at least toggle the appended quickchat commands it would be appreciated, as it takes up too much space and is rather distracting. The font also doesn’t fit with the game, and an option to choose a nicer looking font would be much appreciated.

Well the new font is better to read and not that ugly at all. But the overlaping text should be fixed and I’d personally remove whole [TEAM V-say: 2-1] etc. I don’t even want to know who switched to what merc.

The new font is big and obnoxious. Something smaller that does’t take up so much space would be far better than this. its like if someone tried to upgrade comic sans

Ikr, why couldn’t they just leave the “friends playing” section there. Who actually thought this was a better idea?

change for the sake of change should be avoided at all cost…
most of this “new and improved” crap is confusing and not improved in the slightest, its just shinny. changed just so they could say its changed.

Yeah it was much easier and could actually join friends games with it, had a friend I wanted to join after they started a game yesterday but I couldn’t…and they didn’t hear me ask them over steam.

So is the enemy team merc switches supposed to be in chat too?? I c
Kept seing ememy changes. Plus wtf is the point of that. u can see what they changed to at the top of the screen or side if u reverted to old style. Think there investing resources on the wrong things.

Yeah, I saw this too. People like me and you do pay attention to the chat, and seeing what mercs the enemy switches to can lead to strategic advantages for the other side. The merc switch should just be seen for the same team only. I think this is just a bug, hopefully.

Did y’all not read the notes? They clearly said it is a work in progress.

I like the newer, larger fonts. My oldass eyes welcome it.

Is it just me or do some of you sometimes see enemy quick chat lines as well? Made a screenshot just in case…

All these taljs about fonts, and I just want a simple mod that changes all the fonts to Times New Roman.

I agree about the quick chat commands and the who switched merc thing.
It might be useful in ranked but in a public game it doesn’t feel necessary at all and just clutters the chat. A toggle would be appreciated.

Saying that I do like the font itself and even though it is currently suffering from some alignment issues it’s noticeable cleaner to look at.
