With this perk, you can’t reload cancel, which makes it feel like a debuff than a buff. Bring back the original double time please. I’d rather use a lead loadout than bronze if it doesn’t include the double time.

I love the double time as it is. Is probably my favorite perk and I’m used to reload cancelling by weapon swap. Reloading while running behind cover or running to a better position is pretty valuable for me.
You can initiate a sprint and reload, which is what I used to do if I wanted to run to cover and reload. Swapping weapons and reloading just negates reload cancelling.

It’s literally worse. Not to mention that you can’t reload cancel shotgun reloads, which is a HUGE debuff.
if you need to run just change to knife, it’s not like you can sprint and shoot anyway
Weapon switching doesn’t negate reload cancellation. The draw time on pretty much every weapon is significantly shorter than the “cocking” portion of the reload animation when you actually have reloaded the weapon but there’s still more to the animation. Is it slower than using sprint to cancel? yes. Is it faster than not canceling at all? Hell the fuck yes.
Suggested the same obvious thing one week ago and got downvoted to hell. Double time is a TERRIBLE augment, every decent player should avoid it like plague.

Double time prevents people from using a basic tech, which is completely stupid for something that’s supposed to augment you, and even more stupid as it was perfectly fine before. It’s like reading an “opinion” about why you and other guys think Earth is actually flat.

Seriously. Double Time is good as it is, you can reload your weapon and still be mobile. It was broken in the old situation.
Cancelling reload is easily done by switching weapons back and forth.
Don’t like it? Don’t use Double Time.

Please bring this up more and shout to the heavens about the issues with double time not working with reload cancelling. I’m sure the devs will fix it by only making the reload count if it gets to the end of the animation.
Poof, problem solved. Reload cancelling is out of the game and the augment has a good spot for those who used to reload cancel because it is better then having to stand there and wait out the entire animation.
Or pick a loadout without double time.

No, you’re just stuck in your way of doing things which doesn’t workwhen this augment is on your card. Either adapt to the change or shut the fuck up.

[/quote]You’re wrong about that one. Devs stated that they wanted reload cancel to be a thing, and the option “sprint cancels reload” is featured in the game.

That feature is there so that you’re not suck in a reload when you need to sprint away, not so you can cancel the reload.
