Few questions

Did they ever add a anti-cheat? i know the comp mode was riddled with hackers

Did they ever finally add a party feature for non-comp game modes?

Not really wanting to install the game if these issues were never addressed.

back around june 2015 it was pretty bad.

Cheating an issue? Yea.

Playing with friends on pubs? Barely an issue.

So yea, the issue has been fixed.

I heard there are some cheaters still. I don’t know how bad though sorry. :frowning: I know those responsible for the anti cheat part of Dirty Bomb are trying to keep up with them as best they can. :slight_smile:

Any multiplayer game is going to have cheaters. There’s no getting around them. However, they’re pretty easy to catch as they only play Vassili or Redeye.

I had once an Aura player on same server who one shot everyone with a pistol. x) Just casually walked around the map with a trail of bodies and her team was happy to abuse the situation. Other than that, I have only seen one aimbotter since new year. Maybe I’m lucky?

Xinpoop got switched over to NGS. It’s slightly less poopy, haven’t seen hackers in months.

However, ranked mode has seen quite a lot of changes; vote surrender and pause are added.

Someone drops connection? Pause’n’agree to wait for a minute for him, no game progression lost.

Enemy team has blatant spinbot 420 aimlocker? Pause, bargain with rest of the enemy team on how to carry on (reports can be done with plenty of time in that case), surrender if necessary.

At the current moment you can only que as solo or duo, with one mate of choice. So none of the teams should be made of 5 man premades. 5-premade ques are making comeback as separate que in the following update, alongside with visible quetimer showing average waiting times in your area.
