Resume/Lasting pickup ally system

here so more can see and weigh in on this idea.

P4prik4: maybe picking up ally could retain some of the work you did trying to res them. like up to ~20 to 40% of the way, such that if you stop to shoot an enemy you don’t have to start all over again. maybe this % can be brought back down to 0% if they further get shot while on ground. this way feels less of a waste to spend time ressing someone and stop to shoot then resume ressing. maybe it retains some of the work done only if you get past half way. perhaps this could also be a perk on loadout cards

SG_FoNG: What about if the timer just reversed at the same speed it goes up?

DrDacreamer: I really like this concept, mainly with this system of regression. Also makes me wonder if we could replace all of Guardian’s “Double time” perks with a new one that increases help-up speed by 25% and reduces regression by 50%

It’s a good idea. This would definitely make the help up move more useful when theres no medics around.

If your teammate is partially shot lets say to 25 health while down, then he should be brought back with 25 health. Just an idea so it doesn’t interfere with medics reviving.

It would also solve another problem: sometimes a revive gets cancelled due to your downed teammate moving around on the floor. In that case you wouldn’t have to start over as well.

i lost count on how many times i abandon a revive just because of this.
