[Resolved] Quickchat Language

(Backuplight) #1

When a user who has their client set to, for example, French, uses a quick chat command it will display to other users in their set language. In some cases, this is fine - “Ammo!” becomes “Munitions!” but not all are so obvious. Having the local client display the local language would be nice, since this keeps quickchat useful even across a potential language barrier.

Doesn’t happen often in the East servers, but it would be good for the EU servers.

Yeah, it’s a small thing - enough so that it took me until today to even notice it!

Jawohl, Herr Feldwebel!

This is confirmed to be fixed in today’s patch. I should post about issues more often!

Indeed, it was cool to see it fixed so quickly!

I assume it was coincidental, but I’m going to keep pretending it was because of me.
