Resize ET window??

Is there any way to either resize or set the size of the ET game window when not playing in full screen mode?

I have been trying to figure this out for a while with no success, so hopefully someoen can give me an answer here…
I have a dual monitor setup, and everytime I run ET in fullscreen mode it changes my resolution, which in turn messes up my desktops. It pushes both my quick launch and address toolbars onto the second screen, and also moves any applications I have open. When I exit the game, they are not moved back to their orginal location. I am looking for a way that I can specify the size of the game window. (This would also be useful for playing ET at work… I can get away with playing in windowed mode, but full screen is just to obvious)

change your desktop resolution to match your game resolution. that should work

When playing ET in windowed mode, I have to have the game resolution set to 640/480. If I raise it up any higher, the game lags very badly. I think this would be caused by my video card, it’s not the greatest out there. I keep my Desktop resolutions at 1280/1024. No way could I deal with having my desktop display at 640/480… Is there anything elseI could do?

I’m going to answer my own post here. By using Window API I was able to subclass the ET window. Once it was subclassed I used built in windows API functions to change the height and width of the game window to whatever I want. After that I just set the r_customwidth & r_customheight accordingly in my autoexec.cfg file. Now I can run ET in windowed mode with very low resolution(to prevent lag), at whatever size I chose. w00t!~!

Can I minimize the screen in Mac OS X?
