[Rescaling uneffective / Q. about LW model support]

(aVe) #1

Hi !

I grabbed a command line in Q3W forum about rescaling maps and intended to use it in the alpha I’m currently working at.

Unfortunatly, there were no rescaling at all, neither pompei_a1s.bsp created. :???:

Here is the batch :
“D:\GtkRadiant\q3map2.exe” -scale 0.75 “K:\Quake III Arena\baseq3\maps\pompei_a1.bsp”. Using latest q3map2 release.

I noticed in the logfile that there is a beta LW model support
How could I load / use my models with Gtk / Q3map2 ?

(short addition)

well, maybe i asked a dumb question about rescaling, but i have to manually rescale the level i’m making. some parts need to loose between 1/4 and 1/2, so i really wished i could use this feature to visit alternative versions of the map in order to make final decision on solid bases.

(concerning lwo object support, incidentally i found it in misc/misc_model load file window. tried it and got a dummy object as placeholder. case closed ;))

What release, SPECIFICALLY are you using?

It creates <mapname>_s.bsp when you use the -scale command.

As for Lightwave support in GtkRadiant, you’ll need 1.4 or later.
