Res mechanics

Guys, seriously, were you high when you thinked about this new res system? It totally brakes the action. It s***s pretty hard right now :v
I’m totally disappointed.

I totally hate new delayed revive thingie. Most of the times you dont know if guy you are trying revive is just on delay or did you miss(lagged) entirely. Pure guesswork.

It makes a sound, there is a blue outline and you get the revive popup for XP IIRC.

One thing I did notice and haven’t tested with any other medics is every single time I tried to revive somebody that just died as Sparks it would not revive them as they were falling. It didn’t take. Maybe I just got unlucky but I’m not sure. I’m curious if that is a Sparks thing or a revive thing in general now to make it riskier to revive now.

you hear a sound when it worked…
i like it so far

Needs more testing but reviving someone by hitting the head/shoulders seems to not work for me at all I have to expressly go for the body shot to get the revive.

Btw I was not talking about the Spark res mechanic but the fact that you have to wait like 1 sec to be revived.

A question: Is it
1s standup delay + 2s invulnerability
or
1s standup delay + 1s invulnerability ?

Its kinda hard to hear anything when some is constantly shooting right next to you. And exp message often apprears with delay as well.

It’s great, you’ll appreciate it one day.

Reviving seems about fine, but fuck those broken ragdoll hitboxes.
