Requirements for a mirror/camera shader?

I’m trying to create a simple mirror, without a pattern on it (so it just reflects). I have this shader:

textures/portal_test/portal
{
   qer_editorimage textures/portal_test/portal.tga
   surfaqeparm nonopaque
   surfaceparm nolightmap
   portal
}

but I get the ‘shader not found’ image. What do I need? :???:

um… check out bubba’s tut’s for that info, i dont think thet portal.tga is in the et pk3… but im not shure about that…

EDIT:k, i just looked at that and i dont think it will help at all, lol… sorry for misinformation. =/

EVEN MORE EDIT!!!: er… scuse me… im into the whiskey today, or as like to call it, SHISKEY!!!

check out erik-ftn’s entity discovery’s, he has a working mirror i believe and a map is included to show you everything…

Ah, OK.

OK, textures/eriks/eriks_portal.jpg is completely black, and I’m not really sure what the lines within the stage do. I’ll pm him.
