Request: Open Cases Faster

Hi SD, hi all,

following request: today i had like 22 cases to open to get a card. I want them all to open at once. I want to see also what i opened there. I just do not feel like pressing all the buttons all so often, i just want to get them, trade them, and get some more cool cards.

So far: compared to last build this really improved, i have to go through a lot less clicks. But if you are like level 10 and opened a 100 cases before, you just do not want to open them all through this current procedure (click open, wait, etc) and get every single card displayed, i want them all opened at once and get them displayed in a common menu.

I hope this gets improved in the future, cause it is really annoying to press every case.

I don’t understand why this is such a big deal. The whole game is clicking clicking clicking… every shot is a click, every interaction is a click. You spend your evenings clicking. And then suddenly, in this case (pun not intended) it’s suddenly one click too many?

I don’t mind if they change the process, i don’t care actually. I just wonder why it is such a pain for you to have to click on the cases individually. It’s not like it is hard work or anything…

I just want the current process smoothed out. Right now I have to open a case, click Skip, get the card and then I’m brought back to the loadout screen rather than my cases screen. I then have to click on cases. This is a minor annoyance but the menu system should bring you back to where you last were instead of the loadout screen that doesn’t really help you since you’ve already seen the card.

PinkFrog: it takes ~2 minutes to open 25 cases. There should be a choice to skip everything ahead somehow, cause i feel my time is spent better :slight_smile: And dont drag me down to that level AKA “hey, you play video games, why do you even complain, your time is wasted anyway”. Take all the three request-threads i made yesterday and you see that the card system menu is currently a bit painful to go through. Just my opinion though. If you are okay with that, then go for it. Wait even the complete animation where it allows you to “skip”. I can see that this works the first times you open cases AKA “how exciting”, it even looks like the visual part of the menu is deciding what card i get for beginners.

On a side note: why not ahve a button in that menu which says “stop” so it much rather looks like one of those casino gambling machines, that would actuall be cool.

TLDR: it is just how i feel about it, which is “annoying to deal with after a certain time”.

You have PC from NASA? :open_mouth: When I’m doing openings, it takes 7-8 minutes to open 20 cases without animations.

Bottom line, it’s a chore to open cases - that isn’t good in a game meant to entertain, dispense with the pseudo roulette wheel of boredom and let us open multiple cases simultaneously.

I’m happy with every card I will get because cases are free. I’m not wasting own money so why I should be mad?

well, the discrepancy in our views probably comes from the fact that i open cases as soon as 2 or 3 have stacked up. Opening 25 at once is surely more annoying to do.

I’ve stopped opening them now (I have around 70 currently, around 90% of which are lead). I converted a few up to bronze but I’m saving up for the 50k merc unlocks instead nowadays…

There is an excessive amount of clicking required (everyone complained about there being too many clicks already and the latest patch made it worse :(). Can we not actually open the crate directly from the ‘RSS’ type menu top right?

Case opening is only ‘exciting’ for new players. After a (very) short while the novelty wears off.
SD, please, consider implementing 2 things:

  • open cases ‘en masse’
  • able to open them while in the lobby
