Yeah, tried to play today - only 2 euro servers with people. One had 2 players, another 8. Joined the latter - immediately was killed in spawn 3 times by Taurus.

Sad stuff… these are all obvious cheaters. What about the not so obvious guys? Not even going to point fingers, since I might be wrong; and I don’t have the material and time to properly judge this. But there will be certainly more cheaters, most likely since a long time.

Videos of blatant cheating behaviour like this will result in a much quicker turnaround than simple reports, since we don’t have to do much more investigation.

Also bear in mind that our anti-cheat is still only in logging/testing mode, when we turn it on, the anti-cheat (amongst other things) should prevent players from playing the game with known hacks.

Are you sure about this? From all the sites people are posting and how advanced these haxs look I am worried that we are already behind…

Get the SD legal team working! When we download the game we sign or agree to terms… Why not bury in something that if the game is manipulated or “something” that actions can be taken… Sue their asses… I’m pretty sure all you need is an IP and that can be enough to convict of wrong doing because its as good as a physical address… Contact their ISP and say they are using the internet for fraudulent activity and have the ISP cut off the internet as a whole.

Do more then ban! Go after these kids… Put a bounty out of there for fines not paid and have bounty hunters confiscate their PC.

Bottom line is that the haxers are costing SD and Nexus Money… Things that are costing a company money are illegal because the companies investment and money are being jeopardized.

Try to think of examples of this:

#1) Buy a brand new car and are about ready to drive it off the and a guy/girl steals a car and smashes into you for fun and runs away and is never caught.

  • Maybe you should hire and insurance company and insure the game. Lets them go after these people.

There are a lot more but I should get back to work!

Release the hackers address and names and maybe the public can take care of them haha. Again all this can be agreed to in the terms…

i realy think that we can start something here. something that i didnt see anywhere in games. some very strickt and regular-basis actions against cheaters.
this could be a good edvertisement as well. rare do we hear that developers of the game put much effort in busting and binning cheaters for good.

once cheater is caught, then his mac-address and/or IP should be banned for a year.
