I have no problems with admins having server demos… if theres a hackusation, the admin can check it out.

But I personally dont want players i’ll be competing against in comp, having access to my demos.

VAC bans do lock your whole steam account right? That would give some extra incentive not to hack imo.

No, if its a Valve game then it’s all Valve games that are locked, not your whole account… individual non-Valve games are just that game I believe.

But it does show you have VAC bans when looking at someone’s profile. Not sure if it does on private profiles.

Not true.
You are only banned on the game using the same engine.
And you can still play those game on non-vac secured server.

Or your buddies could just make new Steam accounts if their privates get busted… :wink:

Yeah, it does nothing to your account as in you’re still able to use all your games… Just playing online becomes an issue with games of that engine as was said.
