It’s so situational and shortlived moment anyway when you’re on a MG that I wouldn’t think it made any difference if it completely negated the overheating! But it does help in those moments when you get behind the enemies
Replace the "cool" augment with something else.
I actually find myself using the MGs often enough in (pub) games. I just shoot some ppl, hop off to kill a few more and hop back on etc. Downside is the delay in mounting/unmounting a MG, which makes it a death trap imo. Once you notice someone has picked up on you faster then you wanted, you are already dead or severely damaged. The perk comes in hand and I notice the difference well enough but my suggestion would be a buff in the form of a smaller delay time for mounting/unmounting.
WOW didn’t expect these result’s, its seems more people are happy with an augment that I’m “guessing” most people use less than 1% of their total play time.
And I’m not talking about just the turrets either, I’m talking about being on them long enough for the augment to be actually usefull.
Next thing people will be telling me pineapple juggler is just fine as it is also…
Let me make this one point clear, I’m not 100% sure about this but if they were to show us the time used by players on turrets out of there total play time I would bet serious cash that its lower then 3%.
Yet all the people here are happy with an augment they use less than 3% of the time!?!??!?
Here is a cherry on the cake for you guys, We all know pineapple juggler is getting fixed (it was obvious it needed it) because it is 100% useless
And here we have another augment that ( I find near to useless ) and IS completely useless in 1 of the 3 game modes available.
But hey ITS FINE AS IT IS!!
this forum just blew my mind!!!
let’s use our tinfoil hat for the duration of this post.
I dare to say ppl who said that this augment is fine said it for 1 simple reason.
They don’t want to lose “value” on their perfect card. Imagine every shit augment reworked into actually being useful. What would we have? A bunch of powerful cards which makes the time/money/credits spent in crafting/opening your best possible card from your possible loadout to waste.
Maybe they rather see 8 crap cards out of the total 9 just so their 1 card can stay as the “best”.

It’s not that cool is good, it’s that it’s not bad. There is an actual benefit from it. Unlike big ears, pineapple juggler, bomb squad, focus, enigma, and sneaky…

Any chance we could get this some serious attention/consideration?

Just mention her via @MissMurder (They have Thanksgiving tho, like the other mods besides @Faraleth , since America and Stuff.)
I miss an option like: “Make it better so people are more likely to use turrets often”, sinde
I think the turrets themselves are fine, but they are like glass cannons, once you learn how to use them you realise that if you have been on the turret long enough for it to get to near over heat, it’s time to get off before your head gets shot off… and that’s without the overheat augment.

Turrets are deathtraps since the nice change of a delay you need to wait till you can leave the turret.
You can leave instantly if you “switch” weapons

Wow.
Well, to all of you who think its fine as it is.
Until they put turrets in execution mode, its no way near as fine as it is for me.
and even then…
