Repairing turrets

Can we please repair turrets also when they are slightly damaged?

ATM you have to shoot the turrert down before you can repair it again and even that only works on FF servers.

I dont see why its neccessary to have a turret with 51% health and no way to repair it.

+1. i think this. so annoying to see a badly damaged but working turret and not be able to do anything about it

What happens then if a boosted engineer repairs his turret nonstop while hiding behind it for protection ? Maybe that’s what they thought about…

Although I totally understand OP point.

+1 Agree.

Let turrets be reparable either at any time, or a more reasonable “health” (~75%, maybe?)

An engineer spending that much time and effort to keep “Shooty” safe, is probably doing his team a disservice, which balances it out (IMO).

I feel this is why but they are so weak it wouldnt take much for a concentration of fire to take it down even if it was under repair.

YES! I find myself contantly trying to repair damaged turrets that aren’t damaged enough to be repaired. WTF!?!?!

Yeah turrets should be able to be constantly repaired as long as an engineer wants to spend the time doing so.

The repair rate when undergoing fire can be half, so the turret still will die under continuous fire, but this way an engineer can make it last even longer if it is in an opportune spot. Of course the drawback is that it takes the engineer out of the game, since he is focused on repairing that turret.

i think that’s a great idea. less repair power when under fire, but you definitely should be able to repair a turret if it’s damaged. they’re so weak already.
