Renegade line (New Battlefield Heroes?)

I don’t know how many people here know of Battlefield Heroes, so I’ll probably firstly say a thing or two about it.

It was a game that came out in 2009, with an interesting take on the Battlefield franchise. It was a free to play cartoonish shooter. A very casual game that didn’t require too many skills to be good at it, and it had a childish cheerful vibe that I really liked. It might have gone downhill, because of some pay to win problems, but nonetheless some little things that made it great still remained. In the end, like the fate of many other server dependent games, it died in 2015.

Now there is a little team of BFH fans that decided to make a little game of their own, and they took a lot of inspiration from Battlefield Heroes. I could call it a BFH clone, but it’s in very early production and I don’t think it’s wise to judge it just yet. I have hope that it might be a nice revival of the BFH style, but honestly I’m not expecting too much.

If there are any old players of BFH here, I am quite curious what your opinion of Renegade line is. What do you think about it?
I’m as well curious, if you never played BFH, what do you think of this?

im just hoping it will have the same vibe as BFH, when i have acces to its alpha/beta i will leave CS and DB to play it.

@sweetColumn Well, Battlefield heroes is dead, and it will probably be some times before Renegade Line will be open for the public (It will have a kickstarter soon), but I believe it will be free to play once it comes out.

it will be free to play, and the only thing you can buy with money are cosmetics like clothes, gun skins, and taunts

I read somewhere on their forums that the alpha will start, when the kickstarter finishes. Supposedly, you’ll have to donate 10 €/$ to the kickstarter to become part of the alpha.
