I’m the only having this issue? This looks terrible.

My GPU: ATI HD4850

(RR2DO2) #2

Make sure you are on recent drivers. AMD just released the 11.5 catalyst ones.

(Sporkforce) #3

I have the same problem. I’m also on an ATI HD 4xxx card. Tried updating drivers, reverting to older releases, farting around with the CCC, nothing seemed to make any difference whatsoever.

(Legion) #4

Tried 11.5 and 11.5a . Still have this issue.

(otirruborez) #5

all 4000 cards are having this issue.

(kilL_888) #6

tried to disable catalyst a.i.?

also, put driver settings to application controlled and see if this helps.

Yeah, I’ve tried a plethora of different settings in the Catalyst Control Center. Turning AI on/off, forcing AA and AF, Changing Mipmap render settings, etc. Nothing seemed to affect it really. I hear the game runs in OpenGL? Could this have something to do with that?

(Twistedpandora) #8

is any one with nvidia cards having this problem? or is it just the ati4000 cards? i have 2 GTX470’s and id hate to have this prob

(Sporkforce) #9

Haven’t heard of anyone with Nvidia cards having problems. Check here too http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=956 and see

(Malacca) #10

I have this exact issue. Radeon HD 4890.

(system) #11

Nice nickname :stuck_out_tongue:

(Madrasa) #12

This does not fix the problem at all.

This is a screenshot with the 11.5a drivers on a 48xx card

(phoix) #13

Same issue, same card. Tried 11.5a, 11.4, 11.3.

(SeedyROM) #14

FWIW, I have an ATI 4850 1GB and it looks exactly like that on the Tower Defense level. Game runs smooth now at least.

(Malacca) #15

As stated above, I have a Radeon 4890 and have this exact issue. Walls, players, gun models, you name it, it’s gridded.

Also, I have tried three different drivers. Still no change.

(Warruz) #16

4870 Exact same issue

(Madrasa) #17

Is there any chance we can at least get some acknowledgement that there is an issue?

(Sprinkles169) #18

Heh, figures I have a 4850.

(yurkles) #19

Same issue, 4870x2, I also have a 4850 that I’m yet to sell that I rolled back to; same issue.

Appalling QA. They must have tested the 4xxx series and been aware of this, surely?

(Legion) #20

They changed title of this topic, so yes. SD probably know about that issue.
