Card: XFX HD5770 XXX. FPS: 10-50. Drivers: 11.5. I think the problem is in DOF in game. Coz when processing DOF, when u looking at it the fps going crap. Dear Splashdamage plz answer how to resolve that prob, or when it will be fixed. Coz ur great game is simple unplayeble! Thank u.

same issue here, I played brink in my brother pc wich is a dual core 2.4 and a low range nvidia graphic card runs fine, my pc is far superior but maybe because the ati 5770 its just inplayable i have like 10 fps max.

I have a 5770 as well. But unlike the majority of the people that have posted here, I can’t even get to the game’s menu. When I start the game on steam it asks if I will allow it to access my hard drive or whatever and I say yes as I normally would, and then I see a white box in the top left of my screen flash and then my screen goes black and I can hear the intro video but there is no visuals and my monitor says “NO SIGNAL”. So I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del out of it.
I know that my computer is more than capable of running this game and I updated my drivers to Catalyst 11.5 and got the 11.5 hot fix. My computer has 8 gigs of ram, 3.4 ghz processing power, and as I said before I have an HIS Radeon HD5770 Graphics card.
Also, the patch that was released on steam today didn’t change anything for me. The same thing happened as yesterday. While I am very upset at the problems with this game on launch, I still retain hope that the game is just as fun as I’ve been hoping for the past year and I trust that Splash Damage is trying their best to fix the problems.

This thread is specifically for Depth of Field issues (blurriness) on ATI cards.

Have you tried updating your drivers to the 11.5a hotfix? There’s a link to these drivers in the stickied thread at the top of the Tech Support forums.
