The hackers are gone thanks to the new anti cheat system, but comp missions are still in the game…
Its 4:10pm in Australia, I’m searching for a comp game, after searching for 15 minutes I am still unable to find a game…
Please remove the mission, its currently useless.
Also consider removing side objective mission and game mode exp mission. (Side is too difficult, game mode exp favours one person on the team, I often find it that I won’t defend the c4 just so I can get a plant after the defuse.

But yeah finding games in aus is pretty lame, wait for ages, have it bug out and kick everyone.
The mission is bad by design though, it pushes people towards a mode they shouldn’t be pushed towards.
I hate that mission so very much, it always sucks the joy out of my game.
Last time we had 3 Vassili on attack, I ate the punishment and left. I like to waste my time, but I have limits.
It’s also highly demotivating to be up against pre-made groups of level 30+ witha team where lvl 18 is the max and everyone else is 6 or 7. I’ll try, but I’ll not enjoy that. If I see such a game in normal modes, I just leave.
I play comp and think the comp mission was a bad idea even though I play it myself. Most of the community doesn’t do comp or doesn’t want to, but they feel like they have to do it when they get the mission just so they get their potential credits. Especially the quests where you just have to play a competitive match, not win one. That defeats the purpose of competitive imo. People should be playing it because they want to get better and win, not because they want credits.
So… Because Assi doesn’t have comp, you should remove it for everyone? Here in Canada you can find a game in 10 seconds on a non-peak hour.
I agree, those missions should be scrapped.
In the meantime however, just quit those missions instead of enduring sth unpleasent for a few hundred credits. Not worth it imo.

Exactly. Not everyone wants to put up with that just for the chance of a more high skill match. I personally go through with it, but I think the comp missions are a bad idea because the majority of people do not play comp.
While Game Mode XP does seem to favour one person on the team, that is only in the instance of attacking, however on defense the entire team can be rewarded Game Mode XP for a Long Defense. This, I find, is the fastest way for any non-engineer merc to complete this mission and as such it helps to promote a better defense overall.
I do agree about competitive missions though, they don’t necessarily need to be removed, but perhaps only available to players who are “competitive junkies”(i.e. Maybe someone ranked Gold 1 or above will get competitive missions).
bump, because I had to be present twice today. It was a slaughter, as usual. 3 Sparks on my team, I would have left if it wasn’t for the punishment. (I politely asked if one or maybe two sparks could swap to something more suitable. they punished me by explicitly not reviving me anymore 
)
