removal of nonvisable surface's

when I make a wall caulked on the 4 outside plains and then texture the inside and outside surface’s and then build 3 more walls the same .

overlap the walls like so.

and compile,
the nonvisable surface’s are removed in my final compile and I’m happy about that…

another person does basicly the same exact thing but yet has overdarw and Z-fighting with the outter texture plain where I had none.

I’m confussed as to why I am getting a differnt compile then other’s doing the same type of building techinque .
in fact I can’t even force it to overdaw and Z-fight with the outter texture ,
I tried to raise up one side of the box and q3map2 clipped the texture from the top vertex outter to the lower vertex inner, stopping any Z-fighting with the outter texture.

I’m not complaing on my part but I’m confussed as to why it seems to work one way for me and completly differnt for others.
