Reminder: name of folders in pk3 file

Ok, please when you add custom textures or models to your map, do not put them in a folder named “terrain” or “snow” or “wood”, etc

I realized that some textures I could have sworn were from the original pak0.pk3 that were loading in radiant are in fact from one of the many custom maps i keep in my etmain.
Other than that, if 2 mapper decide to name their texure “grass” and put it in a terrain folder, guess what is gonna happen when you start wolf?

Thx

actually i meant, do not use folder names that already exist in the pak0.pk3
i name them for example “mymap_metal” or if you have very few textures you just put them all in the same folder

Surely you should just place your customs in a folder called by your map name or username. Just try to use something that no one else (in the entire world) would have used. I.E. Try not to clash with what other people may have named their folders.
