@MissMurder said a new merc was coming in the “next next” patch on the dev stream the day before the fine tuning patch. If that holds true I would anticipate a new merc in ~2 weeks.

SD should first make Phantom playable and as strong as other mercs before releasing something new where people will cry it’s op because they can’t deal with it…

Devs confirmed (linked information) in stream not long ago that we could expect that the mercs featured in the [url=“https://youtu.be/QFsfpKQgGJ8”]E3 trailer would be rolled out sooner than any other.

So it’s now either Turtle or Phoenix, as they’re the only ones who haven’t been released yet.

To be honest, as much, as i would like to see some new mercs to spend my credits on, I hope they fix some long-lasting bugs, before they enter a new round of reddit vs. others in the league of merc-adjusting.

When are you going to release a new merc? I have near 50.000 credits and I would like to know If it´s better to wait a little bit to buy a new merc or to buy one now because I have time to save more credits :smiley:

Mercs shouldn’t be the priority right now, getting a working anti-cheat should be.

From what was said on stream today, it sounds like the next merc announcement/tease will be coming next week - so another 2-3 weeks until a new merc release, I’d guesstimate.

I feel these things aren’t mutually exclusive.

Most likely Redeye, but Phoenix is a possibility too. I’d much prefer to see Stoker added (as based off of what I’ve seen, he looks like he’d be perfect for my playstyle), but I’m not expecting him for awhile
