This is my first map. Pretty much just a for fun map. Objective is for the Allies to escape and the Axis to stop them. Once 10 Allies escape, the map is complete.

Hmm on the picturtes it looks very dark on some places, can u see an enemy walking if your both there?

You should be able to. The screens were a lot darker than the actual game, I don’t know why.

Can u place the links between a [img ] [/ img] (without spaces) tags.

Many ‘lazy’ people don’t want to click all the links - including me

Because you set the brightness of the game higher than 1.

I figured they were too big to be posted here without annoying people lol. The screens are 1680x1050. You can click the 1st link to see them scaled, or if it’s fine to post the full sized ones in [img] tags, I’ll do that.

Okay, it’s back up. It’s probably too bright now. lol. I’ll work on fine-tuning it, but definitely no one can hide in the shadows now. :stuck_out_tongue:

Use shader lights for the ceiling lights or at LEAST make the entities spot lights (target light ent at info_null)

looks a bit blank from the SS, but first maps are never the best maps :stuck_out_tongue:

Pande, just making sure, this the shader lighting your talking about? What’s the difference between that and a light entity? Asking out of pure ignorance, not trying to be a douche or anything. lol.

Anyone who downloaded the old one(b1), should download the new one(b1a). I put the wrong script file in it. When you finish the objective the map wouldn’t end. :o

Yes, that is a topic about the light shaders Pande was talking about. However, you can also just grab one from the “lights” folder in Radiant.

Has anyone tried it? What do you think of the objective? I don’t know if it’s the most efficient way but what I did was make a teleporter and setstate it invisible. Then made an “invisible” tank(just the behind the scenes stuff, no actual tank is there, of course) and when you begin “escorting” it, the teleporter becomes active and warps them back to spawn.
