Hey guys,

Heres my first map, designed for 2vs2 with a simple objective.

If you got some feedbacks for me then that would be fine. Atm there are some rooms that havent really much furniture in, cause i dunno what to put in there, so if you played the map and got some ideas, plz tell me and i try to complete the map.

Objectives:

Allies:

-At the beginning, press the yellow button near the damaged mg to unlock the upper door, for a better escape route.
-Steal the objective (holy bible) which is in the bedroom on the 1st floor.
-Escape with the bible to your spawn and bring it to the holy place :slight_smile:

Axis:

-Dont let the Allies unlock the upper door.
-If they unlocked the door you can lock it again with the black button XD
-Defend the objective in the 1st floor.

See if you can add lightmaps to future versions. Its tricky to make it look good, but its worth it at the end.

Also, when you upload, its best to zip the .pk3 file, rather than just upload a .pk3 file. Otherwise noobs tend to extract it. (I think that site you used might have changed it to .zip)

You should probably try to design for 3v3 or 6v6, as they’re the standard gametypes

ATM i just got a little problem, I have read as much tutorials on Level-Designer.de as i could do, then there was a hack attack of a stupid turkey guy, and now the page is down, and i cant read the tutorials of the important things anymore. Ok there are lots of tutorials, but they are all in english, and i would like to read the tuts in german, cause its much easier and i think i wount do that much mistakes then. Otherwise i would have added lots of lights and stuff like that in the map, maybe when LD.de is online again, i release a final version of the map with light and with more furniture :slight_smile:

Om and why you tell me that with the zip file, it is allready a zip file XD

At last i wanted to say, that my next maps will all be designed for 6on6, but atm i dont have the knowledge thats needed for such a big map, otherwise i would have started earlier :frowning: But I think this 2vs2 map is a good beginning :slight_smile: If you played the map just tell me your impressions ty.

Better add the lighting in a next beta, it can take a few tries before it looks good.

BTW: The railings of those balconies look weird… I guess you have put the alpha texture on both sides of the brush instead of putting it on 1 side and a nodraw at the other side.

Lightning indeed and ffs when making screens set your fov to 90

I agree with P4nth3r on the FOV. The image where you are standing in the trench just looks too weird.

Maybe a little more variety in the textures. That stony texture you have used on the buildings is a little too much for me because it is everywhere. Maybe inside use a different texture like a rough plaster or something but ensure that you have variety.
