I’ve noticed that on steam the UK and Europe seems to get a release day sometimes 4 days later than the USA (somthing to do with game charts?) I know that it will prob be down to bethesda but will this be the case with Brink?

I think this is more to do with distribution to retailers and not having online undermine that. Having a fixed retail day (Tue=US Fri=Eur) shipments can be coordinated and released simultaniously. I suppose the Tue and Fri thing is just how both regions wanted to run it, there is also no reason why Eur couldn’t see a release on Friday and then the US the following Tuesday, didn’t that happen with ETQW?

if you really want it 3 days earlier then just get the game gifted from an american and you’ll be able to play it on the 17th.
find someone you can trust, pay him via paypal and he gifts you the game.
that’s how I’ve done it.

Most games have something like this, so there probably is some kind of a marketing reasoning behind it.
