Reinforced and Champion Equipment Cases: New tiers between standard and Elite

(SzGamer227) #1

Why do I want new tiers of Equipment Cases? For starters, it would add variety to the type of cases that you open up. Just opening shoddy standard cases over and over again is a bit dull. It would be exciting to find an occasional higher-end case without having to pay good money for it, wouldn’t it? I don’t know if the game intends to keep Case variety as it is, but it doesn’t feel complete to simply have a single shoddy level of case and a premium super-high-end level without any in-between. That’s where these new cases come in.

(Yield stats below are proportional to their current odds.)

These could have a 10% chance to replace standard cases upon obtaining a case after a match. They would entirely cut out the possibility of Lead loadout cards, meaning that you would have a guaranteed change to get at least a decent 2-Augment card, an okay chance at getting a good 3-Augment card, and a realistic chance of getting better bling. Hey, it’s not super amazing, but it’s a lot better than opening up yet another crappy standard one, right?

These could be purchased for 5000 credits in the store.

These could be a special and uncommon reward for winning a match instead of just another random find. (Mostly.) They would have a 25% chance to replace Reinforced Cases if you were on the winning team of a match (amounting to a 2.5% chance to replace a standard case drop) and a 0.5% chance to replace any case if you were on the losing team (so you can still get lucky even if you lost… imagine one of these popping up when you don’t expect it!) These would yield only 3-Augment Bronze-and-up loadout cards, and offer a tantalizingly good chance of getting rarer cards. You’ll feel like a real winner opening up one of these!

These would not be purchased, because they’re too good to be bought with credits like the others, and shouldn’t compete with Elite cases in the premium market for (I think) obvious reasons.

Bronze - 60%
Silver - 30%
Gold - 8%
Cobalt - 2%
