Region Limitations?

I was bummed to find out that the country I currently reside in (Nicaragua) is not allowed access to the Dirty Bomb beta. Why was I even selected for the beta?

Will this restriction ever be lifted? I also find it to be a very strange limitation. May I ask the reason for the limitation?

I was really looking forward to playing this game, so I really hope this is a temporary thing…

edit: I just read about the Axeso5 announcement. Does this mean I will be restricted to playing only with South Americans? I really hope not. All the people I play online games with are American.

The game is being provided by different partners depending on location, at the moment the providers are Nexon America, DDestiny and Axeso5. I hope the plan is to find a partner in every location where there are players wanting to play, at least we (the community) keep trying to persuade them of this. With regards being able to play with players connecting through a different partner I too hope they’ll be able to work something out to allow us to all play together.

My thoughts regarding partners are that they didn’t want to use one of the traditional worldwide publishers because they’d lose too much control over the game and have been screwed over by them in the past, and the smaller partners they did find weren’t interested in providing the game to areas they didn’t already have market penetration in. This has the consequence that you’ve noted that not all areas get covered at the same time.
