Regarding the SMG 9, a small change

This is so damn right.

Crotzni out performs reload speed, RPM, DPS than SMG-9, except SMG-9 has the same 12 damage and bit stable recoil than Crotzni.

Hey, this is my idea, but what about modify its recoil to be placed right in between Kek and Crotzni’s recoil, and making its mag to 45 rounds like Kek-10?

Also, I have to say this to you all there is one more reason that SMG-9 doesn’t show up often and it is because except Sawbonez, I found out every mercs who have access to SMG-9’s loadout, their options aren’t very good as the other loadouts.

SM41 for Nader is not a joke and probably one of her best loadout, if not hands down the best one since the Springy buff. Also as far as I know there’s a lot of people who run SM72 on Sawbonez over CR73. Let’s not overestimate the issue.

But I do think if SD gives good options for Bush SMG-9 loadouts, there would be more people using it, because Bush is quite popular merc. I really do think this fact also affects the population of SMG-9 users.

Why do you need to buff SMG-9 if it already have an upper hand over Crotzni? There’s no point, I’d be glad to see slight buff to Crotzni instead.

Only advantage you get by using SMG-9 over Crotzni is recoil.

Damage : same 12

Mag size : same 40

RPM, DPS : Crotzni has 650RPM, which is 30RPM faster, 124DPS and 130 DPS so it has 6 DPS more.

Range : 18m, 19m so 1m longer.(it is the longest range among SMGs, including Blishlok.)

Reload speed : 1.9sec, and 1.7sec.(1.7sec is fastest reload time among entire SMGs, including Hochfir.)

Crotzni is already one of the best SMG in the game. Fastest reload, longest range, highest 130DPS, with decent 12 damage.

I don’t see why SMG-9 is superior than Crotzni except the same damage and recoil.

OR that over distance the damage does not drop off as much? What else could it mean? If i hit a headshot with a less accurate gun, it would still register as a headshot.

It’s a combination of spread and recoil. The second one is damage fall-off.

This is only a raw numbers. The thing is: Crotzni have a horrible spread, while SMG-9 don’t. They basically the same in CQC, but with C. you need to tapfire in medium ranges, while with S-9 you can shoot (and hit) just fine. And you need to tap-shoot in higher ranges with S-9, while with C. you don’t even hit a thing, thus whopping +1 meter of max range is utterly useless.

The Timik should have something related to the dmg, to compensate the horrible accuracy
